Riyadh accounts for 22% of total deals The “rental index” in Saudi Arabia recorded more than 294 thousand residential and commercial rental transactions during the month of last September, as part of the reports and data issued by the electronic network for rental services “Ejar” in integration with the Sakani platform, as the index includes more than 160 cities and governorates that include most of the cities and regions of the Kingdom. An increase of more than 22% compared to September 2022, and a decrease of more than 15% compared to last August. The September rental index report witnessed a decline in residential transactions by 15% compared to last August, as residential transactions in September amounted to 233 thousand transactions, while commercial rental transactions recorded about 61 thousand transactions, a decrease of 6% compared to last August. Riyadh topped the list of cities with more than 22% of the total deals recorded by the rental index, recording more than 65 thousand residential and commercial rental deals, to continue as the city with the most recorded rental deals, followed by Jeddah, whose deals exceeded 37 thousand residential and commercial deals, then Makkah Al-Mukarramah with 13. One thousand residential and commercial transactions, then Medina, which recorded 13,000 transactions, then Dammam, which recorded 12.9 thousand transactions.
